It's quite challenging to write about yourself, those always seem like the hardest things to write. It just never gets easier, but i'll give it another shot here. Let's start with the basics about me. My name is Nicole but I prefer to be called Nikki or Nik. I am 20 years old, and will be starting my Junior year at Salem State in September! (My how time flies). I'm an education and psychology major, and am hoping to get my Masters Degree and teach children with special needs, focusing on children who have Autism. I've been able to work with multiple children who have Autism which is why I want to do this as my career. Aside from school i'm pretty fun, or at least I think so. I enjoy being outside, especially in the summer. I have an ATV that I love to ride up in New Hampshire, and I enjoy spending time at our lake house. I also love animals. I've always had pets ever since I was born, and I dont think I could live without them. They play a huge part in my life. For a job right now I babysit for a family with a 2 year old and a 3 month old. That has been the best experience. I have loved being able to watch both kids grow. It's amazing how fast the 2 year old has learned to talk, and how much the 3 month old has begun to do. And this summer I am starting a new job as a camp counselor at a YMCA. I'm excited about that. I've always had jobs that involve kids. I've never worked anywhere, where kids werent around. What else should you know about me? Well I have a close group of friends who I love more than anything! Most of these people I have been friends with since middle school! Always love meeting new people though, and expanding my friend group! I live at home with my mom, dad and sister. And of course all of our animals. I'll save the details on those for another post! Keep you wanting to read! :)
This is a picture of me on my ATV after a fun muddy ride! :)
Well I think that's all you guys need to know about me for now! I'll fill you in more about me throughout the other posts I will be posing!
